Meet Baby/Gift #8 For the First Time

The kids and I went for my ultrasound today to see new bee-bee!!!! The ultrasound technician was great. She was showing the kids all the different parts of the baby, even the umbilical cord and the baby opening and closing her(his) mouth. They even saw the tongue!!!!! So, the baby is most likely a girlie.......but we'll still have to wait and see for sure, for sure. The baby measured at 29 weeks and 5 days..... further along than I thought....So, we'll see;)

Little Miss Muffet

Kennedy LOVES to dance around..........she's always dancing and even sometimes singing the songs she's dancing to. So here are some funny pictures of her dancing. Again, they're very grainy......but, regardless, I LOVE 'EM!!!!

More of Mitchy.............I can't help it!

I got him this shirt at Value Village (a local thrift store) and the pair of jeans, and I couldn't help myself snapping pictures of him here and there.........sigh.

Sorry they're so grainy......errrr, waaaah, errrr, waaaah

Bill S-209

Please read up on this Bill. It's about not allowing children to be spanked reasonably and properly by the parent. It may become a criminal act.

Please be in contact by any of these means (if you haven't already) to voice your God-given right as a parent or the rights to parents.

LUDWIG GUTTLER(tp) ''1.und2.Satz'' / TELEMANN

One of the Most Beautiful Pieces of Music Written ( in my opinion)

So Jackson, I don't know if you remember that time we were discussing music in your kitchen.......but this is the piece I was telling you about. It's Telemann: Trumpet Concerto in D Major played by Ludwig Guttler. I LOVE how he plays it. I've heard another play this song, and the high, high point of the music, which on this video is about 1 min. and 35 sec., was played too fast. I like how he takes a little more time through it. Anyways, all, sit back, relax, and wander to music euphoria.

Arraign it, Accuse it, Spit on it - Hatred of Sin

What kind of reactions should we have toward our sin? Thomas Goodwin says this,

Work in your hearts a hatred of sin… If a man had killed your friend, or father, or mother, how would you hate him! You would not endure the sight of him, but follow the law upon him. Send out the avenger of blood with a hue and cry after thy sin; bring it afore God’s judgment seat, arraign it, accuse it, spit on it, condemn it and thyself for it, have it to the cross, nail it there, if it cry I thirst, give it vinegar, stretch the body of sins upon his cross, stretch every vein of it, make the heart strings crack; and then when it hangs there, triumph over the dying of it, show it no pity, laugh at its destruction, say, Thou hast been a bloody sin to me and my husband, hang there and rot. And when thou art tempted to it [sin], and art very thirsty after the pleasure of it, say of that opportunity to enjoy it, It is the price of Christ’s blood, and pour it upon the ground. … Shall I live upon that which was Christ’s death? Shall I please myself in that which was his pain? Shall I be so dishonest, so unkind, as to enjoy the pleasure for which he endured the smart?

—Thomas Goodwin (1600—1679), Christ the Mediator in The Works of Thomas Goodwin (RHB), 5:294.

Debunking Darwin ( oh what fun!!!)

The Mysterious Island, I can't wait to see. The kids and I read many articles in the Answers in Genesis Magazine about the errors of Darwin and the Galapagos Islands, which we found most fascinating. And now, to hear of this new documentary coming out right around the anniversary of the Origin of Species, yes, how fresh and wonderful. I always feel so suffocated by all this evolution crap we normally hear, that the creationism we read about through Vision Forum and Answers in Genesis is so refreshing!!!!!

So here's a link to the preview to the documentary.

It's the September 8 entry.
